Job Description
• Executing strategies to engage union & union committee members to the optimum level.
• Support in building a healthy working environment by creating sense of Belonging, Ownership & Care
• Supporting in developing Negotiations strategy with team. Assisting in the Negotiation process.
• Play vital role in all Conflict resolution pertaining to the workmen
• Maintain cordial relations with all workmen by regular formal and informal interaction with workmen / workmen groups and opinion leaders on the shop floor.
• Gauge and measure the IR climate of the unit with regular interactions with shop floor and line officers and managers.
Ensuring compliance and quality in performance & skill assessment of all workmen
• Ensuring manpower availability of 100% at the shopfloor (permanent & contingent labour)
• Tracking and controlling unauthorised absenteeism
• Designing Annual Training Calendar, drafting monthly training plan & monitoring compliance
• Mitigating Critical skill gaps and ensuring readiness on such identified critical skills.
• Grievance Handling of workmen & Executives
• Continuous tracking and elevating the employee participation and commitment in the engagement initiatives
• Adhere to the unit IR strategy and help in avoiding any IR incident in the site

Education & Job Qualification
Candidates with min 6 years of experience in plant HR, industrial relations, employees and HRBP roles can apply. In depth knowledge of Labour laws, disciplinary proceedings and experience of handling unionised workforce will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Telugu or Tamil language is a must.
Background: MBA/PGDM (PM/IR/HRM)
Preference will be given to Tamil/Telugu speaking female candidates.
