Job search is a complex and costly endeavor. Job seekers must choose a search strategy that includes how much effort to exert, which channel to use, the type of job to prospect, the location, etc., all the while ignoring whether job offer arrival rates depend on their effort. Fortunately, the **advent of the digital economy** has lowered search cost and presumably increased the quality of matches between firms and workers.
**Resume** is a formal document that serves to show a persons career background and skills. In most cases, its created in order to help a candidate to land a new job. They are the first step taken by corporate recruiters and hiring managers to identify candidates who might be invited to interview for a position. A traditional resume consists of a professional summary, work history, and education sections. Resumes were among the most **widely used tools for the screening **of job applicants.
Due to the Technological development, the **Video resumes** are a growing trend in the job application process. Video resumes are Short video messages where job applicants were **creatively present themselves to potential employers**. **Video resume **have been heralded as a viable option for those who have unique products to showcase, and others who want to show what they do well.
The video resumes have received a **substantial amount of media attention **and there seems to be a growing awareness among Human Resource professionals of video-based job applications, little is known about the effect of video resumes on applicants.The video resume **adds credibility **because it makes you and your skills** more personal and professional **. The recruiter gets to see the person behind the resume first-hand, making it easier for them to consider your skills and experience. It shows to be enthusiastic about the job and passionate to work .The **level of Engaging **is more when compared to the traditional resume.
This study entails To Study about **Awareness of video resume feature **in Recruitment Industry.To Study the level of Awareness of **Video resume Feature in the Quantum hunts Job Portal** among the candidates.To identify the effectiveness of **Promotional strategies **taken in Job portals Social media Sites and in other mediums.Sampling were deemed acceptable for this study in order to gain general insights into how **Students ,graduates and Job seeker** view video resumes however, the study conducted with a **sample size of 276 respondents**.

**Interesting insights:**
• 36.2% of respondents are from Management background and 33% are from Arts and science background and 30% are Engineering and technology.
• Most of respondents i.e. 59.1% says they prefer video resumes for all the job roles (Marketing /sales, professional , technical jobs).
• Majority of the respondents i.e.59.8% are satisfied that video resumes delivers all the above advantages ( competitive advantage, bold self starter, accurate reflection of qualities).
• 97.5% of respondents agrees that Job platform consist of video resume Feature is more beneficial
• Most of the respondents i.e.(123 respondents) are satisfied and agrees that QUANTUMHUNTS video resume feature is an advancement in the Recruitment Industry.
• 94.9% of respondents are using a video Job platform for the first time.
• Most of the respondents i.e , (146 respondents) rated 4 out of 5 for QUANTUMHUNTS video job platform.
• 98.6% of respondents says they are satisfied and says they will recommend others also to use QUANTUMHUNTS platform.

It would also be interesting to examine whether recruiters perceive video resumes as an **accurate reflection of the candidate s qualities**. Future studies might also consider the potential for various types of bias in the hiring process resulting from viewing the applicant in a video resume.Further research is also warranted for measuring the **effectiveness of video resumes **as there are likely other dimensions not accounted for in this study and further investigation could explore whether their use actually saves time or is only viewed as an additional step in the recruitment process.
